Fudduni Lives: A New Zealand Project Brings Sicilian Poet to Light

Two New Zealand university professors, Paola Tiné and Alfio Leotta, from Victoria University of Wellington, have returned to Sicily for an ambitious project of research and valorisation of cultural heritage: rediscovering and promoting the figure of Petro Fudduni (or Pietro Fullone), a Sicilian popular poet of the 17th century, whose memory risks disappearing.
